In investigations your camera and software make all the difference

Here is a simple evidence software addition for a cell phone that can make the case...
here is a sample.

Its called U.S. Cop

From Dale Curtis:

After purchasing and working with the software Super DVdate I can give the following review:

It does work for camcorders that will not transfer Time/Date using analog cables.

It takes some time to learn how to use the program.

If using an SD Card Camcorder you will need to get accustomed to loading each video segment into the program.  Then Burn each segment to DVD.

It takes a lot longer to upload and burn a DVD than using the analog process, with Dazzle, etc.  It took me over 3 hours to upload and burn 10 minutes of video
With Time/Date to DVD as compared to just a few minutes using the analog methods.

The software works and allows you to upload your video in High Definition instead of the lessor quality, when using the analog cables, with Dazzle, etc.

Not much else to say about it, except that it will now take more time to produce a finished DVD for Work Comp clients, but I can now use a camera that I thought I would need to discard, or give to my kids.

Upgrading license from A to C

In the next few months we will be upgrading our license from A (Investigations only) to C (Investigations and Guard Company) so we can provide armed patrol services during related activities.

Still contributing to the investigative community with the latest by the ACFEI The Certified Criminal Investigator, CCI

How versatile are your investigative skills?
I am Dennis Chevalier, vice chairman for the CCI program.

Investigating criminal behavior involves many different facets. Investigators have to identify the crime scene, identify evidence (including trace evidence), conduct interviews, properly handle evidence, make out different wound types, and testify in court. Being efficient in these areas attests to your knowledge as an investigator.

Why should you choose the CCI credential?
The Certified Criminal Investigator, CCI® program measures and assesses knowledge and competency of investigators in both the public and private sectors. Providing a foundation of forensics basics, this program creates a measure of standardization in the field of investigation.
